LUISA CASTELLANOS

Luisa grew up in the Chicago suburb of Elmhurst, IL. Creating art from a very young age she was always inspired by her artist mother, Donna Castellanos. As an arts and marketing professional Luisa is passionate about creepy cute designs and sharing the joy it brings to the world.

In addition to starting her own business and establishing a personal brand at age 11, she has helped market other small businesses - including an ice cream shop and a toy store/art gallery and three local art fairs.

Earning a BA in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from DePaul in 2015, Luisa soon began working as a technology consultant and partner of Science Retail and contributing consulting services, web design, marketing, branding and e-commerce.

POCK-IT PALZ

In 2004, Luisa began designing and creating a line of designer plush toys called Pock-it Palz. Each plush design is hand sewn using materials ranging from fleece and felt to more obscure interior design samples, vinyl, faux fur and more. She continued over the years to develop her craft and experiment with other art forms including painting ceramics and photography.  View a list of past and upcoming exhibitions here
