LUISA CASTELLANOS

Luisa grew up in the Chicago suburb of Elmhurst, IL. Creating art from a very young age she was always inspired by her artist mother, Donna Castellanos. As an arts marketing professional Luisa is passionate about creating creepy cute DIY concepts and designs and sharing them with the world. 

In addition to starting her own business at age 11 and establishing a personal brand, she has helped market other small businesses - including an ice cream shop and a toy store/art gallery and three local art fairs.

Earning her Bachelors degree in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from DePaul in 2015, Luisa soon began working as a technology consultant and partner of Science Retail. Specializing in web design, marketing, branding and e-commerce. To view web design examples click here.

POCK-IT PALZ

In 2004, Luisa began designing and creating a line of designer plush toys called Pock-it Palz. Each plush design is hand sewn using materials ranging from fleece and felt to more obscure interior design samples, vinyl, faux fur and more. She continued over the years to develop her craft and experiment with other art forms including painting ceramics and photography.  View a list of past and upcoming exhibitions here
